I have seriously spent an hour of my life trying to find what should be the most intuitive thing ever!

Under color selection there should be a TRANSPARENT SELECTION... guess what... there aint...

I am trying to make a form fillable pdf, create a text box and have the background transparent so it doesnt show up as a giant white box over the images i am trying to make fillable.

this should be in my face easy.... under the text box properties.. there is NO option to set background to transparent... WHAT AM I MISSING GAWD!

This is exactly the same problem I have been spending hours trying to figure out what to do about also. I read where someone suggested changing the text box background to the color of the rest of the page but that doesn't work for me because mine is a gradient color and it still shows up. There should be an option in the text box background color for transparent background. Did you ever figure this out?

Please see comment to original question. Since there is an open enhancement request to implement this, there could not be a way to "figure this out".

Also please note that "answers" are meant to answer the initial question, whereas your text doesn't. If required at all (for what?), it should had been a comment.
