It starts to open maximized and then go to smaller window. Have only tried calc.

So nobody knows the answer? Another problem is when I do maximize the window I have to make it back smaller to close the file. When I close the file, I get a black screen instead of the desktop.
**** found the answer myself. Ion tacos you need to hold down option key while clicking the maximize button. It’s all good now.
“hold down option key while clicking the maximize button” works on all LibreOffice apps and all Linux windows. These little pieces of information are gems. Thank you!!
