LO 6 Base. I have a table with 2 fields - ID & Item. As of now there are 9 items I am using the report builder both wizard and design. I want to have 3 columns across. Each column will have 3 items down, then start the next column and list the next 3, etc. Is it possible, and if so, how would I do it? I have read everything I can find. Thanks, Al.

There is nothing in Report Builder to do what you want. The documentation does show a method using SQL to produce a two column report (however it is left-right). For more info on that see answer in this post → Base Report Builder two columns Report .
You would need to use a different (external to LO) report generator such as Jaspersoft Studio to easily produce multi column reports as you requested.
