English Dictionary Update?

I’ve been using Libre Office for a while now, and have found that the dictionary is quite limited, and had not seen any interaction between Libre Office and Google or any other server to update the dictionary.

Are there plans to start an update service server and trust the customers dictionaries if they all have similar words used in exactly the same context?

I ask this because it would be a great way for you to start gathering statistics based on customer usage instead of actual customer details and demographics. I’m searching for alternatives to a “FaceBook” like mistake of gathering too much specific information that it becomes a national security leak. (Damn Putin!)

Last version of the English dictionary was released this month. This particular dictionary is actively maintained and each new release of LibreOffice provides the last available update of it. If you use an old LibreOffice version and don’t want to upgrade, just download the extension with the dictionaries and install it (remember to restart the program afterwards).
