How do I enable new animations in .odt

I was adjusting settings in Win 10 and a box flashed up which said “disable new animations in .odt”
I didn’t take in the “.odt” bit and thought it was to stop Win 10 wasting memory. The result is that LibraOffice won’t open.
I am sure you can tell that I am a new user of Libra! Please help me to get it working again.

Hi @Waver! You may tell that I’m clueless, but I have never met something like “disable new animations in .odt” before, despite many years of experience with Windows and LibreOffice as user, and several years as LibreOffice developer… A mystery to me! Does it now tell something specific when fails to run LibreOffice?
