Write vs Word formatting conundrum

Hi there,
Can somebody help me understanding why this extract from a .docx is formatted differently between Write ( Libre6.06) and Word (Office2013)?
I have installed the tts mscore font v3.6.

I do not get why Libre formats it differently.

Thanks
Palmer

Your question lacks all types of required information. What is your LO version, OS, and what exactly is different? E.g., with LI 6.1.0.3, I get same formatting:

Providing the screenshot allows me to show what I suppose to be the same; and screenshots could also help you to mark differing parts.

Actually, the page number in the version on the left is sans serif and the page number on the right is serif. And the body text wraps differently. Oddly, the 1 on the left in the body text is the same as on the right.

@anon87010807: agreed, I missed the page number. Wrapping of the last text line is not formatting, that’s layouting. So - the bottom line is that OP should describe what is the specific issue in the question, and not expect others to guess (let alone have both software to be able to compare directly).

Sorry for being incomplete.

Here below the additional details.

OS = LinuxMint 18.03 (64bits) Libreoffice 6.0.5.2 Word-Office2013

The difference is that while Word’s “layout” ( sorry, English is not my mother language) takes only 4 lines, Libreoffice uses 5 lines as in Mike Kaganski screenshoots. This happen when printing or converting to PDF too.

Thanks again for your help

PS I do not seem to be able to attach the pdf screenshoots. Let me know how to and I will add them too.

Put your PDFs inside a ZIP file and then change the file extension to ODT.
Then this “forum” will allow you to upload the file.
Just tell people it is really a ZIP and they can extract it.
I would like to see the PDFs because I would like to closely examine the fonts embedded.
I have both the old mscore fonts (renamed) and the modern MS fonts installed.
So I can directly compare both in LO 6.1.0.3 and Word 2016.

Apparently I can add only a link to a web page where people can download the file.
Anyway. Here the link to the zip file in my dropbox link text

There you can find the zip file.

Appears to be the LibreOffice layout on different operating systems.
Thought it might be the different versions of Arial on the two different operating systems.
But I used your doc, and copied the text block below the original.
Font on the upper block is Arial 5.22 from Windows 7.
Set the font on the lower block to Arial 3.00 from mscore fonts package.
In LibreOffice 6.1.0.3 the text blocks look identical.
In Word 2016 the text blocks look identical.
So it does not appear to be the font.

It could still be a font substitution - have to see the PDFs to see.

But it appears to be differing layout on different operating systems.

.

Quick test using Libre 6.06 under window. Same difference.
