What do you mean? Please take a few minutes to describe your problem, not write something that is incomprehensible. I could guess that you mean that while you are typing, characters ahead of cursor get deleted - which you don’t want to happen - and that is caused by enabled Overwrite mode (toggled by Ins key)… but who knows?
