I have created a form where contacts need to fill in their info. When converted to pdf, when entering the info, dots appear instead of text. It seems like it is hiding the text, as when you enter in a password. I can I fix that?
What was shown if you switched off design mode and entered text into the box before the export to pdf?
Is there something entered for the property Password character under the General tab for the control?
I have the same issue with LibreOffice 6.3.0.4. Text in text fields in forms is shown as centered dots like a password field when the form is opened in Acrobat Reader. The form works fine in Okular and Evince. Text in the text fields in LibreOffice looks fine.
The field Password character is empty.
The issue can be solved by choosing ‘Arial, Regular’ as the font in the field Font in the tab General of the form field Control Properties.
