How do I get a table to print the size I set in my document?

I set up a table with two columns and 5 rows with exact dimensions (each section is to be 2" high and 3.5" wide) in my document but when I print the document the table is slightly smaller by approximately 1/16 to 1/8 inch. How do I get it to print the size I set it for?
