How do you create a 2 column are within a portion of a page?

Hi. I am trying to make the ingredients list of a recipe appear in columns within the text body of a single column page . Open Office Writer allows this through the insert columns tool but I can’t find the insert column command on Libre Office writer.

Select the text that you want in two columns. Click on Format-Columns, and enter ‘2’. Make sure that ‘Apply to’ reads ‘Current Selection’. Click ‘OK.’
You may need to adjust the column break to get the appearance you want. Use ‘Insert-Manual Break-Column Break’ and ‘OK.’
