Conversion from .odt to .html: Tab not kept

HI everybody!

I need to convert my .odt file into html. I’ve used the tool inside LibreOffice to convert it to html.

The conversion works as expected for Hyperlink, style etc… but all the tabs that I’ve used sometimes at the beginning of lines have disappeared!

Anybody knows what’s happened and how to fix that?

Are you aware that web browsers handle white space - such as tabs, multiple spaces and new lines - differently than you might expect? They are treated as a single space; check the raw html that is exported and see what it contains. You may have to use some CSS to format your document.
