I would like to get the last page of a chapter to be without numbering. Not like that can be done with page styles because of page break but like it is done in novels on the last text page just before a new chapter start. See below, I don’t want page number 15 :
I’m using LibreOffice 4.0.2.2 on Windows 7 Home Premium and I don’t know if it could be done using it.

I don’t think LibreOffice can do that (or any word processor). If you are after this level of fine control, you might find TeX or LaTeX useful.
In LibreOffice you could, though, cover the number with a white rectangle. Just make sure you draw the rectangle on page area (not directly into footer, so the handle stays in text). Also make it slightly larger than footer, so you can delete select and move/delete it later if needed (if it fits entirely into the footer area you won’t be able to select it until you disable the footer).
