If you have truly Imported a csv file you should have no problem deleting the table. To import a CSV file into Base as a table you would need to go through Calc. It is more likely you are linked to a CSV file.
You can tell one from the other on the main Base screen. In the lower left corner if it is Text then it is simply looking at the CSV files within the directory pointed to. If something like Embedded database then you should be able to delete a table as it is a table in the database from a conversion.
If it is Text, the only way to add or remove ‘tables’ from the list is to add or remove them from the pointed to directory Base was instructed to use when created.
