I’m not sure but I think this is caused by Updating, but in any case I come back only to find the Recent Documents list cleared. I depend on this because sometimes I work on multiple docs, and I can’t remember all the file names.
How can I retrieve the list of Recent Documents?
Just to be clear, Recent Documents still works, but I’m loosing the list of files last open.
Do you mean updating from LibreOffice? I have been updating LibreOffice many times, never having changed the list of recently used documents.
Maybe you accidentally clicked in the menu File>Recently used documents>Empty list?
I am not aware that you can restore it.
I’m absolutely certain that it’s not me accidentally hitting the “Clear List” button.
I believe it happens when Windows Updates.
2018-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4457128) coincided with the loss of my Recent Documents list so I’m assuming Windows Updates may be the cause. I’ve also noticed this correlation before as well.
