how do i use libre office edit title of file

I used to use Open office but chose Libre because of good reviews.
However, I cannot work out how to do basic things.
example: I can create a file and put documents into it but I accidently put wrong document on it. How can I edit to put correct info.
Also, I have many different documents in one file as I can’t work out how to transer documents into another file.

Do you have video tutoials or directions of how to use basic office?

I have never used Word but have used Microsoft Works and Open Office.

Many thanks for your help. Ann Moore

If I understand your question correctly …

To change the name of a file, it is best to use a file manager, like Windows Explorer, but this can lead to complications in finding the file again from LibreOffice. Alternatively, in LibreOffice save your file with a different name by using menu File → Save as … and give it the name you want. (You then have two copies of the file with different names) Later, you can delete the old file to avoid any confusion.

To move a file (document) from one folder to another, a file manager is your best tool.

I hope this makes sense, as common terminology is important and helps to avoid misunderstandings.
