I inadvertently switched from built-in help to web-based help. How do I go back to built-in help? Apparently I tried using 6.1.1.2 help before installing the accompanying built-in help…
… and I used windows 10 to uninstall both the help and the libreoffice program, and then reinstalled both. No change.

Starting in LO v6.x the built-in help is displayed in a browser. You can verify this is off line help by checking the URL displayed. It begins with file: and not https:.
yes, the browser is referencing a local file. I think my previous LO version was 6.0.1 and it didn’t do that. Many thanks for the clue…
