How to use data from the internet

I found this article which explains how to have MS excel read anything from the internet. However, I cannot find a way to do this in Libre Calc. Is it possible and if so, how?

I just did that and all it let me do was post a hyperlink.

After insert the hyperlink click on button [,] next to hyperlink and wait for the LibreOffice show the tables in the box.

This might work for any file Calc can open, but how to read a specific value from a webpage ( For example the number of answers of this very page…?

Florian, that is because the feature in question (in both products) deals with HTML tables i.e., the element. Where in this page (for example) is there a

If Calc isn’t supporting particular features that you desire, please feel free to file an enhancement bug and provide as much information as possible. Include a link to the article you mention, if you think it provides a good description of the particulars.
