Hello! I am trying to create a .odt file that contains some values from an SQL server.
I connected to the SQL server using Base and created a specific SQL query that returns one row of data.
Then in Writer I used Data Source (Ctrl+Shift+F4) to find my Base file, and that specific query. The data looked good from inside Writer, so I then just pulled my query towards the file and created a field ( in my test).
The problem is that although the first value takes is always correct, it then NEVER syncs up to changes in the DB. The changes are visible from Writer in the Data Source window, but they don’t sync up. F9 does nothing, and I am at my wits’ end.
I’d appreciate any help in this matter and excuse the Greek characters!
EDIT: I’m so sorry for the Greek characters, “Ερώτημα 1” (which is higlighted in the first pic) stands for query1!
