Word Document not in viewable range for LibreOffice Text Document

I have some older Word documents where the text goes past the margins in page view (MS Word) - there is no problem with this in Word because I can work in "draft view" and see everything, HOWEVER in LibreOffice the text document only shows what should be within the actual margins of the page rather than giving me access to the rest of the page. I've tried other views and no luck. I can access the right hand side of the page (where I can't see the text) but I need to be able to see it. For example if I have a table I can see 3 columns but not the last two as they are passed the margins.

Any suggestions would be welcome. I need to be able to view the entire document.

Let me rephrase this ... I have a Word Document that opens in LibreOffice Text Document. Two or three inches on the right hand side of the LibreOffice Text Document is not viewable. How can I view the whole document?

Well - I'd suggest you to use Web view right away two days ago, but I read that "I've tried other views and no luck" - so ...
