I have a large spreadsheet (LO v5.0 ) with Inventory/Stock that needs to be updated to make presenting Prices in a comparison way that is easy to update and to create new line items.
Eg Stock item| Price and Source| Date| Notes
I need ideas that can be easy to introduce in the Price and Source Cell (maybe a drop down box?) that shows the same item can be bought from Bunnings or Tumu Timber etc with a single click to reveal data.
Currently i have 4 Providers of stock items so the columns S P R E A D out too much and makes it awkward to read correctly. Sure I could use Freeze pane and that’s ok for some application.
I don’t want to duplicate line items just to show prices in a group of products Down the page if possible.
Can you help with ideas that could work? Im a little rough with controls but i can always ask.
Maybe a Database with a form and queries is the way to go?
