Can I protect the images in Impress from downloading or printing, while permitting third parties to edit text boxes?

I want to protect my intellectual property (graphics) yet allow third parties to annotate, add/modify text, and save annotations. I also want to prevent any function that permits them to replicate my images (copy/paste, save as, print). In this way, I can provide my images in powerpoint format, preserve my IP, and permit the users to add and save descriptive content as they wish.

No, a protection as you imagine it does not exist. Normally one protects his pictures by giving them a watermark.
