move libreoffice localization to Crowdin

Hi!
Nobody know about Crowdin? Crowdin is very powerful localization management platform. I’m suggest to move localization files to this platform. It is absolutely free for open-source project.
What community think about it?
BR, Alexander

Well - any such proposal must start with the discussion of what benefits it gives over the current solution, and what problems solves; ideally also with analysis of downsides.

Please, check out this site https://crowdin.com/page/tour#tab_managers to know more about all benefits of Crowdin. Also you can request demo for more details https://crowdin.com/demo_request. I’m believe that Crowdin more powerful than existing localization platfrom

No, that doesn’t work that way. You are proposing something; so you are the one who sees some benefits from the move. Those benefits must be communicated to others, not only by giving links, but by telling in plain language, what from a potentially huge list of “unique features” you seem important for us.

Also, no matter how much more powerful something is: is that power required for our use case? does it worth all the effort of the change? what would be the cost?

ok, I’m thinking about all “unique features” and make full list of them

  1. Do not answer your own question unless it is a real answer (and yours is not).
  2. This is a questions-and-answers site, not a discussion forum. And it is about LibreOffice usage rather than development. Enhancement proposals should go to Bugzilla.
