Which version should a home user be using?

The download experience is incredibly confusing. There are currently three “released” downloads - but only two of them are highlighted on the download page for the end user.

I have version 6.1.1 (NOT 6.1.2). 6.1.1 is a current “released” version. I just got a notification that there is a new version of 6.1.1. I go to the website to get it, and there are two huge boxes on the download page for:

6.1.2 (If you’re a technology enthusiast, early adopter or power user, this version is for you!)

6.0.6 (If you deploy LibreOffice in an enterprise or corporate environment or are a conservative user, please choose this version.).

I am neither of those things. I am a home user who has 6.1.1, which is actively maintained.

When I scroll down, I see that my version (6.1.1) is listed under “LibreOffice is available in the following released versions:”

Okay, so I click that link (which looks like a checkbox - huh??) and it takes me to the Download LibreOffice (stable) dowload page. I’m thinking, well this is what I have, but is this what I should have? And why is it buried in the website somewhere?

If there are three “released” versions, then all three “released” versions should be given equal weight on the download page.

If they’re not going to be given equal weight, then “Available Versions” should at least be placed just below the very large download rectangle design for 6.1.2 and 6.0.6. - not way down at the bottom.

I was going to say that each release version should be given a simple name. But then I saw that there are these two names:

LibreOffice Fresh
https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/

LibreOffice Still
https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-still/

Yet these names are not used on the download page! They are used on the feedback page, and also on this page - Release Notes | LibreOffice - Free Office Suite - Based on OpenOffice - Compatible with Microsoft - which does not mention version 6.1.1.

6.1.1 is listed as “stable” here: Download LibreOffice | LibreOffice - Free Office Suite - Based on OpenOffice - Compatible with Microsoft - but 6.1.1 is not given a name like “Fresh” or “Still”.

Incredibly confusing.

Orient yourself at the official download page. There are only two versions available. It is also described for whom which version is best suited.
