When I format cell using Ctrl-Shift-1 or the [0.0] button (Format as Number), the default number of decimal places is 2. How do I change this to, say, 0? So I don't have to click the Delete Decimal Place button everytime.

I would create a cell style with the desired settings and assign a shortcut as necessary.
