I selected multiple rows and columns and got blank fonts and size

I wanted to set up my calc so I wouldn’t have to change font size everytime I entered a number. I selected multiple rows and columns and when I went to select a font, the whole font column was blank. Same with size. I tried exiting, but the box that says don’t save - cancel - save was also blank. I couldn’t exit Libre office calc - period. I run mint 18.1 and liber office Version: 5.1.6.2

This is unacceptable. Do I need to go back to an older version of Libre office, or is there a fix for this. jamminjohn@gmail.com

liber office Version: 5.1.6.2

That version is 2 years and 5 major versions behind. Current versions are 6.0 and 6.1. Please test with currently supported versions to see if they have your problem fixed. You are advised to use Ubuntu LibreOffile packaging team’s PPA for that (the page mentions the reason for that).
