Insert field issues on MacOSX

Hi there,

I use LibreOffice 6 on Ubuntu and on MacOSX.

On Ubuntu, within LibreOffice Draw, I can insert the file name as a field, and then right click to change the display options, eg. File name, Path/File name.

On MacOSX, I see the same options, with Path/File name set by default. Selecting any other option makes no difference. Only Path/File name works.

The same is true for any other field with options (eg. Date, Time). Only the default value works. Selecting any other value makes no difference.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a bug in the MacOSX version?

Thanks,

Mark

Hi I am using LibreOffice Draw - LO 6.4.3.2 on a MacBook Pro 15-inch macOS 10.13.6.

I have the same issue, having created a form in Draw, I want to add file name in small font 6pt or 8pt and rotate the text box to run vertically down the edge of the form.

I am unable to change the inserted filename and path to file name only. The option to change seems to be fixed at path and name. I have looked at LO Preferences, LO File Properties etc, it seems there is no way of changing this feature in Draw. I have not attempted this feature - insert file name with LO documents and LO spreadsheets yet.

Any and all help much appreciated.
