LibreOffice pdf document corrupted by Gmail process

I use LibreOffice almost exclusively. When I create a pdf document by converting a LibreOffice odt file to a pdf file, and then email that pdf file as an attachment using Gmail, the file layout tab positions are often changed in the Gmail process. The result, when viewed in Acrobat Reader, looks like it is produced by a very clumsy typist (that’s me). Anyone experienced this incompatibility and is there a solution?

it’s very unclear, and I’d find it rather unlikely that an email process should change a PDF internals. Still, it could be good if you:

  1. Attach screenshots of the PDFs on your system, and on recipient’s;
  2. Attach the PDFs themselves (or check if they are identical bitwise yourself);
  3. Mention your LO and OS versions.

I’d rather guess some missing fonts, or bad PDF generated by LO, or something like that.

And of course, you can rule out the corruption on transmit, by putting the PDF into ZIP attachment, and checking if that helps.
