Well, the title pretty says it all. I will update a style to what I want but it only stays with that one document. As soon as I create a new document I have to start all over again. Is there a way to make the style permanent so it will affect all documents?
You need to derive your documents from templates you made yourself for the different purposes.
You can also load the styles from a different document (mostly a template) into the current document. All the equally named styles are overwritten then. (Extra choice if page styles also shall be loaded.)
