How do I password protect a LibreOffice Document? [closed]

Using PC 64 windows 10 with most recent release of LibreOffice. Have data on a document that I need to protect from intruders online. Please advise?

For an existing document, File | Save as and check Save with password; - for a new document the option is also available in the Save dialog; you will then be prompted for a password. Please read the password dialog box carefully!
