Version: 6.1.3.2 Created a new database, tables then forms using the wizard, all form controls now require the Input Required Property to be set to No. Otherwise I get the error "Error writing data to database" Input required in field xxxx'. Please enter a value.

Can't understand this, opened previously created databases which have forms with the property set to "Yes" but no error message ???????????????????

Hello,

This was the result of a bug fix in version 6.1.2.1 - see my answer in this post -> LibreOffice 6.1.2 Base value field problem.

From that version on, whether creating a new Base file or using an older one, the message will appear if the field is set to Yes.
