How do I copy contents of a cell in sheet 1 to a cell in sheet 2 when an “x” appears in another cell in sheet 1?
Calc formulae don’t copy but return a calculated result. If the Formula is extremely simple (a single cell reference) the result may look like a copy but still is not content but result.
(in a cell of Sheet2:)
=IF($Sheet1.B1="x";$Sheet1.A1;"whatever you want to get if the condition comes out FALSE").
If the alternative shall look like nothing, use the empty text "" as the assignment in the FALSE case.
