I am trying to set up a college paper with a 1.1 margin, header, running head, and page number?
Select Format>Page. Adjust margins by selecting Page tab. To turn header on select Header tab. Explore the options this dialogue gives and choose what other settings you want to use (noting that “Area” means the part of the page within the margins where the text you enter will appear).
If you want the page number at the top of the page, put the text cursor in the header and select Insert>Field>Page Number. If you want it at the foot of the page use the page format dialogue to create a footer and insert the number there.
