I'm interested on insert my own 3D models into an impress document. I would like to animate my model in slide transitions like Power Point 2016 for windows. The feature appear on insert -> object -> 3D model menu, but is always grayed. Why the feature is disabled?

There is an extension to install? There is a compatibility issue with my operating system? (MacOS High Sierra)

Thanks in advance, Marco

I suppose it's the feature removed in 6.0 in tdf#103884, and the remaining menu is just an oversight from that.

Confirmed that; https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/65336 will remove the command from the menu.
