Where are the configuration files stored, so that I do not have to enter all my settings after I install a new version.

After I install not from the distribution, all my different settings get overwritten, then I have to re-enter them again.

When updating, the options are not overwritten, in any case look in https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/U...

Thank-you for the information, following the instructions on that site I was able to install a newer version, that is the latest as of this date, without losing all my settings.
