strange font behaviour on screen

In Writer, the characters on the screen sometimes change once I’ve scrolled. Sometimes, I only see the top or bottom half of a line of text. Or, fonts appear to change even though they don’t. If I scroll completely off the screen, and go back, it looks fine again. Selecting it and applying a change also corrects it. The same for zooming.

It happened while I was preparing this post. See the 3rd link below.

It doesn’t happen in Word or elsewhere. I’m using Writer 6.0.6.2 (x64) in Windows 10. The files are ODT.

Why does this happen? Thanks for your time.

Turn-off OpenGL.
Tools > Option > LibreOffice > View > Graphics Output > Use OpenGL for all rendering
Then restart LibreOffice.

If that does not work, you may have success by updating your system video drivers.
