how to edit on data base the boxes - i want to move the boxes around on my data base layout

In addition to @Ratslinger . You can also position accurately by specifying the x / y values. Click on the "Form" icon in the "Form Design" toolbar and the form properties will be displayed. There in the tab "General" you can determine the x- / y-values. Many other properties can also be determined.

First, here is the link to the LO Base documentation -> LibreOffice Base Handbook. Many questions are answered within.

Moving controls on a form is simple. Select the control with the left mouse button & while holding it down drag to location of choice. You can also select the control with the left mouse button. Then use the arrow keys to move the control. You can make the movements smaller by holding down the Alt key while using the arrow keys.
