not really a question but a comment on previous questions. some 4 years ago several users had the same inability to remove a caption from a frame. none of the work-around(s) worked for me. i had to create a new frame/table & then copy each column & paste it into the new frame until all columns were duplicated. then i removed the captioned frame & moved the new frame to the old frame’s location. it’s cumbersome but it works. i 2nd the motion that there has to be a better way. BYW i opened that ODT file with WORD. it worked well except that apparently WORD doesn’t support frames as the content of tables within frames became unformulated text.
