I’m not sure if this is a bug or just how it has to be because of how Snaps are set up.
As some may know, LO is available as a Snap file with Ubuntu. This lets unsophisticated users install the newest version of LO without having to overwrite the version already installed when the OS ships.
I rely on the “read text” plugin a lot to catch typos and edit books. However, with the Snap version of LO when attempting to use “read text” results in nothing happening. I think this may be because of the sandboxing but I’m not that technical a user to know for sure.
So, is there a way to get “read text” to function in the snap version of LO or is this a lost cause?
I appreciate any help anyone can provide.
