My commonly used spreadsheets always open with a few columns hidden so I always have to resize the window.
How can I get the files to open in the same size window that was in use when they were closed?
I’m using MacOS 10.14.2 and LO 6.1.4.2
If you open one spreadsheet in Calc, maximize the window and immediately close it, does it not open maximized next time?
That’s correct - whatever size the window is when closed it ALWAYS opens in a smallish window!
The reverse problem occurred several months ago following an update to Ubuntu Linux. Many (but not all) programs, including LO, opened FULL SCREEN, whether you wanted that or not. It took several further updates (both OS and apps) before the problem was resolved. One wonders if this “feature” is controlled by the operating system or by the application.
