Is there ever going to be a fix for the broken ToC in LibreOffice Writer? It is impossible to use without the thing generating duplicate non-editable entries. It makes the facility completely useless!
I’ve been using Writer since StarOffice 5, i.e. for the last 20 years, and never got duplicated entries on any TOC. Please, provide a sample file that shows the problem.
Duplicate entries may be produced in a variety of ways, among which fiddling with Contents n styles (I recently helped a user who erroneously associated these styles with outline level). Provide information on how you create your TOC.
