I am using LO with Windows 10 on a Dell 15R laptop and I wish the scroll with touchpad in LO is smooth and slow as other apps such as Chrome/Edge/MS Office. Is it something possible?
Scrolling with the mouse is a function of the OS respectively the software for your mouse. Select the app “System Preferences”. There choose “mouse”. You can set the speed in the “Mouse Properties” dialog box.
Also some mice are better than others. I suggest you plug in a USB mouse.
This same question has been asked for years without any sort of satisfactory answer.
Our touchpads work fine in ALL Other Programs, but Libre Office zips up and down so fast that you have to go back and forth several times to find the spot you want. Then there’s a good chance the page will jump as you take your fingers off the track-pad.
Slowing down the mouse at the OS makes it too slow for all of our other programs. That’s not a solution.
This is a touchpad on a laptop. The laptop is for portability and convenience. Adding an external mouse is not a solution.
