How do I install the different language pack on a Raspberry Pi 3?

LibreOffice 5.2.7.2 is preinstalled on the Raspberry Pi 3 B+ (which is fine for me) but I need the interface for teaching purposes in German. In Options - Language Settings - Language I can only change the Locale setting to German, but not the User Interface. I think a language package is missing! Where do I get it and how do I install it?

Thanks for your help!

You can find the language packs on Download LibreOffice | LibreOffice - Free Office Suite - Based on OpenOffice - Compatible with Microsoft. Change the option for the version you need. You can also download the help files there.

As the question mentions LibreOffice 5.2.7.2, pointing to language packs of version 6.1.4 is wrong; at the best case they only crash another version, at the worst case they’d cause more subtle failures. Only install language packs of the very same corresponding version. Language packs of 5.2.7.2 are available at Index of /libreoffice/old/5.2.7.2 (the OS and packaging wasn’t mentioned, so wade your way through the matching directories).

the OS and packaging wasn’t mentioned

LibreOffice 5.2.7.2 is preinstalled on the Raspberry Pi 3 B+

Which doesn’t imply whether it’s .deb or .rpm packaging, IMHO…

Thanks for your answers!

In the meantime I decided to reinstall the complete Linux system, because other stuff also seemed strange. In the end the Raspberry Pi booted with a German language configuration and LibreOffice had also the correct language pack installed.
