When copying text from any other application to writer, paste doesn't work. It doesn't copy to clipboard from writer either. I'm using LO 6.2 and OpenSuse Leap 15 with KDE.

It's November 2020 and paste still doesn't work. I'm leaving Libre Office. I hate to, but I just can't live with this daily frustration.

Hello,

it seems to be a problem of the package libobasis6.2-kde-integration-6.2.0.3-3.x86_64. I have deinistalled on a test system and it turns out that LibreOffice is using KDE's clipboard then. Ironcally the package which should be responsible for a better KDE integration is responsible for a poor KDE integration related to the copy&paste function (Using also Leap 15.0 and LibreOffice 6.2 for testing purposes). But deinstalling this rpm also means that all dialogs (file picker etc.) switch to GNOME-like dialogs, which for sure might might not be the intention of a KDE user (at least not for me). If you also remove libobasis6.2-gnome-integration-6.2.0.3-3.x86_64 you'll get an LibreOffice interface looking like an acient windows.

Update: see also https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/s..., which to my opinion addresses exactly the issue.

So, it's best to wait for a fix then. I don't want Gnome dialogs, nor (argh!) old Windows ones...
