When copying a short text selection from document A to document B, document A is flagged as changed. No other text processing program I know shows this behavior. Can this be changed, and/or is there a plan to change it in future versions?

Mahafiaz: Windows 7 Professional. I have some files in .odt, some in .doc. The problems occurs with either format. Using LO 4.033, but I had the same experience with all of the 4.0 versions, and I do not remember about the earlier versions. I have not had a reason to try spreadsheet formats and I do not use the other programs in LO

What version of LO are you using? What OS platform?

I use Ubuntu and LO 4.0.3.1 and I tried opening an .odt or .ods file, copying some text or cell and closing it again. It did not ask if I want to save. Do you use ODF file formats?
