Use RPM or deb standard with Raspiann OS

Hi Group:
I am in process of installing Libre Office on my Raspberry Pi computer with Raspian OS and not sure if I should use RPM or deb system’s packaging standard, or does it even matter?
Thanks all.

Why don’t you ask in the respective forum? I have never heard about Raspian OS and suspect that most users here haven’t heard either.

Yes, I am doing that also. I asked here because my question relates to LibreOffice. My guess is many members on this forum have heard of the Raspberry Pi computer and the Raspian OS commonly used on it.

As Raspbian (note spelling) is a Debian based system it is highly likely that it uses .deb instead of .rpm, no?

I believe you are correct. I have continued my research since posting the question and since Raspbian is Debian based (which I now know) using .deb download is the way to go. Thanks.
