How to Search for Italicized Text?

I want to search for text strings that are italicized.

When I try to specify the formatting, like this:

It searches for text that is Italic OR normal:

Note that I installed AltSearch, but it did not work properly (list boxes wouldn't open, for example).

I have LibreOffice Version: 6.2.0.3 on an iMac 10.14.3.

Thanks!

I found a kludgy workaround: I can tell it to find Bold Italic text. That worked. So, I selected all text in the document, and made it bold. Then, I could find bold italic text, and it would locate text which had previously been italicized. Sheesh.

Recent versions (current: V 6.2) support searching for text attributes. It works for me. (No AltSearch needed.)

Thanks. I can use the Attributes and choose Font Posture. That finds bold or italic text, which pretty much solves my problem.
