Endnotes at end of section remove page break

Hello,

I am in the process of placing endnotes at the end of a section of a large document. I have reached about a point where every time I try to insert the next endnote, the title from the following page (which is at the start of a new section, and therefore obviously comes after a page break) “jumps” upwards onto the page, removing the page break and appearing right below my endnote:

I think it has something to do with the alloted size of the endnote area, as indicated by the little corner notches, but I can’t find any option to extend them. How can I ensure that I have as much space as I need for endnotes at the end of a section without removing the page break? (I will need at least 2 pages for them, as this is part of a PhD thesis).

Many thanks in advance to all who reply.

Without much context on your document, I suggest you modify the paragraph style for your chapter title to include a page break in its definition (go to Test Flow tab of the paragraph configuration dialog).

This appears to have worked, thank you very much for your help!

Then be kind enough to check the grey checkmark at left of my answer. This will tell others the solution is valid.
