scalc.exe won't work in the Open With window

I cannot set Calc to be the default app for a type of file.

1. Right-click on any file
2. Open with… > Choose default program
3. Open With window: Calc isn’t listed. Click Browse…
4. Select C:\Program Files\LibreOffice\program\scalc.exe
5. Back to the Open With window: nothing appeared in the programs list.

It works well with Writer though. Anyone knows what’s going on? Thanks a lot.

OS: Windows 7 up-to-date
LO version: 6.2

After (in) 4), did you check the box for “Always use this app to open” * .ods “files”? Here is a little guide.

Yes of course. (.ods are already linked to Calc btw, I’m trying that for other file types.)
