I installed the latest version of LibreOffice and tried to download the LibreOCR extension. The extension showed up in my Extension Manager, but was ‘grayed out.’ I selected the extension and clicked on “enable,” but got the message “Could not create java implementation loader.” Did I do something wrong, or is there another way to use OCR in LibreOffice? If I understand it correctly, you can’t use it without OCR Service, either your own instance or shared online. Probably you’d need some kind of account for that.
