Keyboard shortcut to jump to beginning/end of line?

In Microsoft Word, if you press the “home” or “end” keys, it makes the cursor jump to the beginning or end of the line that it is on. But in LibreOffice, it jumps to the beginning or end of the entire document.

Is there a shortcut key that jumps to the beginning/end of the line, like in Word?

It works like this: Home/End takes you to the beginning/end of line, Ctrl+Home/End to the beginning/end of document.

Mac might be an exception: Command+Left/Right arrow to go to the beginning/end of line. If that doesn’t work, try using Fn or Fn+Command instead of Command in the previous shortcut.

Ah, I’m using a Mac, that’s why. I tried what you said, and it worked perfectly. Thank you very much.
